Margot & Jack C. Merrick, Owners & Co-Executive Directors
Margot - A farmer’s daughter whose very large family has been making wines in Southern California for 5 generations, Margot earned her BA from USC in 1990. She then enjoyed a highly successful career in the global staffing industry, working for two publicly traded staffing companies, Outsource International and Headway Corporate Staffing. Margot then launched GOOD COMPANY SENIOR CARE with her husband, Jack, in 2002, to honor the relationship she had with her parents and grandparents, utilize her incredible staffing expertise, and to provide flexibility for their growing family. Margot and Jack have 3 children, James, Jackson and Genevieve.
Jack - After earning his BA at Columbia College in NYC in 1986, and his JD at USC Law School in 1989, Jack practiced with the prestigious international law firm of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue before starting his own corporate and entertainment law practice. During this time, Jack produced independent feature films, including “The Pavilion” starring Richard Chamberlain (1999), and several documentaries. Along with wife Margot, Jack retired from corporate life in 2002 to form GOOD COMPANY SENIOR CARE to accommodate their growing clan. Treasuring family, Jack considers GOOD COMPANY SENIOR CARE a labor of love and personally oversees management of the company.

Margaret Tusan, Regional Manager, Rancho Cucamonga Office
Little did we know when Margaret Tusan first responded to our classified ad for caregivers, that she would soon be managing GOOD COMPANY SENIOR CARE’S entire Inland Empire operation! In addition to executive management experience at several major companies including Modis, the largest high-tech staffing firm in the nation, she also has extensive caregiving experience. After 10 years helping her mother care for her father after a massive stroke, she took care of her diabetic husband who was also on dialysis before he passed away from bone marrow cancer. Margaret understands firsthand the preciousness of life and the rewards of caring for others. She is now happily remarried to a retired L.A.P.D. Detective, with their two children, Dorien and Duke (German Shepherds).
Michelle True, Eldercare Specialist, Rancho Cucamonga Office
Even as a teenager growing up in Montana, Michelle True understood that caregiving was her calling. One of her first memories is of sitting on her great-grandparents laps, tracing the wrinkles on their faces. Always close to her elders, she volunteered at convalescent hospitals and participated in senior adoption programs. She cared for seniors suffering from severe Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. And she took primary care of her grandparents before they passed away. Winning “student of the year” honors while studying gerontology, Michelle most recently won a scholarship to Pitzer College. She lives with her teenage son, Mitchel, and their rescued dog, Sadie. She continues to be fascinated by the aging process and she is continually inspired to serve seniors and their special needs.
Erick Romero, Eldercare Specialist, Rancho Cucamonga Office
As a son of immigrants from Colombia, South America, Erick learned early the importance of hard work and compassion. While still in school to become a licensed Medical Assistant, he began working part time, caring for a fellow staffer's ill father. He immediately realized his natural affinity for helping others, in particular seniors. Sensing he was on the right career path, it wasn't long before Erick joined Good Company as a caregiver. Erick has impressed us all with his caring, compassion and terrific people skills. He is an invaluable member of our care management team. When not taking care of Good Company’s clients, Erick shuttles back and forth between volleyball games with his daughter, Juliette (11), and playing video games with his son, Jonah (14).
