Good Company was a godsend! My sisters and I were so worried about my mom’s post-surgery recuperation. We wanted to take care of her ourselves but were unable to do so due to our work schedules. We needn’t have worried. Within a day of notifying Good Company, two lovely women, Marie and Maria, were at my mom’s doorstep. The two of them cared for my mother in back-to-back shifts and were absolutely wonderful. Marie and Maria knew just what to do to care for an elderly woman in my mother’s condition and to put her at ease. Letter to the Editor: Larchmont Chronicle August 2003

I have never taken the time to write a letter to the editor, but thought this was certainly a situation where it was warranted. I want to thank you for your comprehensive Senior Outlook Section.

My grandmother recently passed away and my husband and I moved my grandfather in with us. He very rapidly deteriorated, literally within a short matter of days.

We desperately needed help with his care, but it was a Sunday and I thought we could not reach anyone until Monday. I then recalled the Senior Outlook Section and found an ad for Good Company Senior Care.

The owner then called me back shortly after receiving my page and immediately began to help us with our situation. Good Company provided us with excellent care, and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs senior care. All of the caregivers who worked with my grandfather were skilled and loving, and we felt as if they were part of our family. Our family had to make a decision in December 2005 regarding the necessary care our 90-year-old father required. After the revocation of his drivers license it became evident we needed help. Our family dentist and family optometrist both gave me brochures on Good Company. Having never researched home care companies, I chose to call Good Company and make an appointment to discuss our particular situation.

I was very impressed with the professional way my inquiry was handled. Within a few days a home care specialist came to our home, and we arranged an immediate schedule to fit my fathers’ current needs.
